First of all, it is important to note that the set is not complex and offers a few scenes that can add to the other Lego Friends sets on the market. It has a cave entrance, a little pier, a raft, etc ... it does come with 2 minfigs (lego friends type) which is on par with other brickmaster sets. The book itself is in the style of other lego friends products and story lines.I have a son and a daughter who I encourage to play with legos. This has historically been difficult, simply because my daughter just has not been interested with the Lego City or other variants out there. Only until the "Friends" sets did she get very interested. I have heard the controversy out there about making a specific set geared towards girls. Frankly, I love it. if you get past the whole argument of the way it "should be" and get to the way that it is: these sets are awesome. They grab my daughters attention, and it gets her into building and playing with these 3D puzzles. In the past, Lego's have been (for the most part) the preview of boys. I know that lego has tried several times to break through that, and in my book, they have been successful. This addition is one more area where I can encourage my little lady to build and explore without trying to encourage her to play with a City Police or Fireman set that she really isn't interested in.Thanks DK and Thanks LEGO! Lets have more!If you have a little lady that likes Lego Friends, then don't hesitate to buy this set, it is on par with the other Brickmasters and my daughters face that lit up when she got this is why I give it 5 stars.
