If it wasn’t for the love of my child, I would have been driven to madness. To see his smile was worth the time and effort. It took two sessions for me to complete it. Perhaps a total of 3 hours. I am inexperienced and have never put a lighting kit together. The instructions are a video on YouTube with a man with skinny pointy fingers assembling it. He is very good at it.Grow your nails out for a couple weeks or have a skinny fingered, patient friend help you.Like many Lego LED light kits, this does not come with any instructions inside the box. There are a ton of electrical parts (lights, wiring, boards), so trying this without instructions would be daunting task. You're instructed to reference an online manual which provides step by step instructions on how to install the light kit. Fortunately, the instructions are pretty clear. This light kit has more than the typical number of light pieces, so plan on a pretty long build. The wiring connects via tiny plastic connectors, so a pair of tweezers will also be helpful. Many of the lights are also similar, so highly recommended to keep them sorted in their labeled bags until you need them (and after testing each light). Because of the sheer number of lights included this kit might be a good starting point if you want to do a custom lighting build for another Lego set...
