I’ve used this alarm clock daily for four years, and just had to change out the batteries for the first time. The pic shows the original off-brand batteries that I took out of the clock in November 2021 after purchasing this in July 2017. Still love it!Most often people write a review just after getting the item/product, so really you don't know how good the item/product is. We have had this clock for almost 3 years now. We still have not had to replace the batteries (one concern I had before ordering it) and it is still working perfectly despite the countless times it has been dropped. I have been super impressed with this clock!! We also got the Yoda one and it has the same review! The clock is as described and my son loves using it. It's easy for him to operate (he's 7) but the back light/snooze function does not work very well. I don't know if it's just the one we received but you have to press the head 5-8 times to get it to work. In a way it's good because he can't snooze it and go back to sleep but he also can't check the time when he wakes up in the middle of the night. Wasn't worth returning and waiting for a new one so we are just dealing with not having those functions easy to use.Very cool alarm clock. The figure is posable just like a real lego toy. The alarm works great and is very easy to use. I only have two complaints about the item but I was aware of one of them before I purchased the item. The clock does not have a power cord and is battery operated is the problem I knew about but it does make the clock much more mobile and fun to pose and place wherever you need it. The other problem I didnt know about was the viewing angle of the display. It is very hard to read the display if you are not looking at in head on. Overall this is a great product that you are buying more for the look and fun factor rather than function. It can stand up and sit down, legs can move, very good for heavy sleepers, is very easy to turn off and on, if it goes off, you push down the head and it will let you sleep for 5 more minutes. My favorite child and only child really loves it, maybe they shouldn’t have put the snooze feature in if you know what I mean! You can change the time and the alarm.Just what i needed to get my 5yo learning how to wake up and get himself ready for school. Easy to operate. I really like the light up feature. I wish there was a way to have the light on all the time, dimmable? Also wish there was a choice for alarm sounds. Its starts with a slow beep and after of few seconds of the alarm goin off the beep gets faster. There is an on/off switch but no way to set the alarm go off at scheduled time nightly without using switch daily.I bought as a gift. Would have been nice to have a storm trooper gun and/or have the alarm at least have the storm trooper say something like “wake up” in the storm trooper voice. On the flip side, the gift recipient LOVED IT!However I wish it had a couple more features for the price.* a plug instead of batteries!* a light that stays on constantly so you can always see the time in the dark. There is a light, but you have to push his head down for it to come on (I guess this is due to the lack of a plug).* a radio would also be nice. Most other alarm clocks come with radio and cost only $15.* buttons on the feet or chest (buttons are on the back including the alarm on/off). Child has to turn it around and find the tiny Off button. But my 8 year old adores it.Last year at Xmas I saw these alarm clocks and passed, only to regret doing so. This year, I saw it, and snatched it up.It was just too cool. I'm getting quite fond of the Star Wars Lego franchise and I'm a grown man and never actually watched any of the movies. The closest I got was Spaceballs! This alarm clock is simply too cool for words. It's a true oversized lego figurine version of the Storm Trooper, with all parts functioning, the legs, arms, hands, head. The use is very basic, 4 buttons on the back to keep pressed to set the clock or alarm. The head serves as light on the screen for a few seconds and as 5-minute snooze button. The only downside is that it loos like when you want to actually turn off the alarm you have to switch it off on the back. Seems really weird.Depending on how much you have to pay, it might not be worth it. But alone to keep it on display it's totally worth it IMO.I'm a huge Star Wars Fan and when I Saw this clock it was a must. It bought purely for the looks alone, but in terms of the clock itself, it's very easy to use the buttons on the back adjust the time and a simple slide switch to turn the alarm on/off. Pressing his head lights up the display at night I've read some reviews saying that their clock beeps when pressing the head but mine doesn't. All in all very impressed would like the whole set but hubby may have something to say about that.Love this clock! It's cool and makes a nice addition to my shelf. The alarm is a fairly harsh beeping noise, but I happen to like this as it actually wakes me up! It feels well built and should hopefully last. It's very easy to use and would be suitable for a child I reckon. My only slight criticism is that you have to manually turn the alarm on and off using the switch every day, this is easy to do but there is always the risk that you may forget to turn it on again. Also I would prefer if it had a 24 hour display option, but that's just a personal preference.Bought as a present for my 7 year old son and he loves it. The light up feature is his favourite part ( press his head and the clock in his stomach light us). Easy to set time and the alarm is louder than the one I use. Looks great in his room would definitely recommend.I have bought this for 8 year old boy as a birthday present. It arrived quickly and was slightly bigger than I expected. Packaged very well in a display box making it appropriate for a present. The boy was very happy as he is a fan of star wars and Lego.I would buy again. I would recommend.
