Fun for 8&10 year old boysFive stars should really be reserved for a product that is perfect. This is close. It represents excellent value for money (compared with, for example, the £3 Batman minifigure series which is shocking value for money).It is a satisfying build with many technical elements yet it can easily be completed in a morning or afternoon by a competent builder. If you are at the younger end of the 8-14 suggested age range it may take you longer but nonetheless that just means more fun building.As a plaything it truly comes into it's own. It is solid and very well designed which means it will stay together (unless you drop it from a height, I guess). My son has a Lego City caterpillar which looks superb but which is so fragile it cannot be used for anything beyond building and admiring.The ManBat figure is rather cool and overall this set is as much fun as the movie. Recommended.After seeing the lego batman movie this was a must buy. The features are great. Lego have really out done themselves with this theme - especially this, the batwing and jokers lowrider. Just wish I could buy them all! Compared to other batmobiles such as the one in the bvs kryptonite interception, this is much larger in bulk and height, giving a monster truck feeling to it. I especially love how it has seats for both batman and robin.Overall this is a 10/10 for me. A must buy if you are into the lego batman movie or even if you like lego in general!Our Grandson loved this birthday gift. Lego is his favorite thing. It's getting rather expensive, but Lego is a wonderful idea that spans the generations.He is now 7yrs old & with a little bit of help from Daddy he enjoyed putting this together & now it sits along side other Lego models. We would certainly recommend it.Tracking said the item was delivered to the address we asked but for whatever reason, it was NOT there. The delivery company had no explanation for that. However, Amazon were amazing & in less than 24hrs got a replacement sent so as not to spoil our Grandsons birthday, (at no cost to us.)So we rate both Lego & Amazon 5 star.My 12 year old son loves this and took a 'reasonable' amount of time to build it. The best price I could find anywhere, even sending it to France! I always look to Amazon first for LEGO. Quite often you feel ripped off with LEGO, but this is a good kit for the price.For my 4 year old took a couple of hours to put together but I enjoyed every minute intracate but really well built and can change different heights on the wheels
