I ordered this Disney Princess Lego set for my two year old daughter as a Christmas gift. The product arrived promptly and looked just as it had been described online. These Legos are perfect for the specified age range of 2-5 years old and are an excellent way to help build fine motor skills and inspire creativity for your little ones. Please note: the younger kiddos will most likely need assistance creating and building the castle that this set is designed to create, but can easily build other Lego creations on their own. This Lego set includes the "traditional" features of Legos with new twists such as: fun, new pastel colors, a Lego horse with carriage, Lego piece with a glass slipper and clock and many, interesting castle-shaped pieces - perfect for easily building the perfect princess castle. This set is specifically designed to include all the pieces to create the castle image displayed on the packaging (and it does).I also enjoy the fact that all of the Duplo Lego sets for 2-5 yr olds are compatible with other Lego sets. My husband and I even enjoy building and creating with these and all of our other Legos. Priced fairly and built to last this Lego set is the perfect gift for your kiddo and fun for parents too! This set is fun my daughter was excited about it. Duplos are so expensive. This set clocks in at a $1 per piece. Wow. The carriage is fun and opens up. It fits on the horse and it comes with Cinderella. The set has 20 pieces. If you want to buys some duplos at a good price try ebay for some used ones. You can find lots of them for a fair price. Right now this set is $25, if you don't have it, wait a while and you'll find the price fluctuates wildly. My son tends to hoard all of our duplos so we wanted to get our daughter a set just for herself. In addition, she is not super interested in building type toys so we were hoping this would spike her interest. Well, it does-mostly. At 2, she still needs help to build the set correctly but loves to stack the pieces and then launch into her "Cinderelly" make believe. Gave 4 stars as it is pricey for how few pieces are in the set.We bought this for our three year old for Christmas last year. We really like LEGO's, and our daughter has fallen in love with the LEGO friends series. Upon putting this together we were missing one of the blocks for the tower. Fortunately, we had a spare block to swap in. It is VERY rare for a LEGO set to be missing a piece - it's never happened to us before. But with only 20 pieces I wouldn't have expected this set to be missing a piece. The other reason I'm giving it a mediocre review is because of the cost per piece. This seems overpriced for what you get. The only think I can figure is that we pay for the "Disney" label. My daughter was almost 5 when I bought this for her, which is a little older than the target age for Duplo. But since she's obsessed w/ all things Disney Princess, and since she still finds the more advanced tiny Legos too difficult to build, I wanted to get her something that she could actually build herself and feel good being able to do it. This set is perfect for that--the bricks are Duplo-size, but it's perfectly suited for little girls who are "in-between" when it comes to Lego. The gift was a huge hit! Finally Lego have caught on to the fact that girls love Lego too. My little one is too small for Lego friends right now but she loves to play with big brother's Lego so this is great for her. She does get frustrated that it fall's apart and I'm not sure how many hundreds of times I've had to keep re-building this for her, but she does love it! Would Recommend. This was a gift for a three year old girl who is obsessed with princesses. She loved it and put it together easily (except for the carriage which needed a wee bit of adult help). It's been two weeks since she received it and she has not yet grown tired of playing with it. Affordable and very age appropriate.I bought the Cinderella castle set and this one... which gave me two identical Cinderella dolls, which my niece LOVES. We call them "sisters" and she couldn't care less about the prince doll that came with the castle. She loves the horse and carrage and puts all kinds of things in there and rolls them around. It was a hit at Christmas. There aren't a lot of other Duplo pieces with this one and it limits the set. I would call it more of an add on set to the castle...excellent qualityKids love it , but some shipping cost are outrageous !
