I had to buy this set because it represents and is celebrating the creation and development of Lego minifigures! (40th anniversary I believe!) As an avid Lego fan and collector, this set is unique and comedic because the minifig worker is creating mini minifigs in a "factory"/garage setting with a magnifying glass for the fine details. It's cute and very fun! Everything Lego is so fun and awesome! :DGot this for my 9-yr-old son when he was home sick after he and I watched a youtube video about it. It's super cute. It used to come as a free add-on with other items, but we just had to have it. He really likes it. Some pieces are super tiny, so even though it 'works' as a factory, it's probably more of a 'display' piece than something that will be played with. We don't want to lose the teeny tiny guys.Super disappointed in this lego toy. The pictures make the scene appear to be heavy card stock or even plastic. It is in fact a thinner version of a regular lego box. Had I know I wouldn’t have purchased, my son wanted to use it as a back drop for his stop motion movies but this flimsy box definitely won’t hold up.I’ll fit right in a little Lego townAlthough the images in the background don't match the micro-figurines it is still very cool addition to my lego collection.
