While I'm a very big Lego Star Wars fan, I'm usually only interested in the bigger, more grandiose sets. One random day I thought I'd give this set a try, and I'm glad I did.You can curl your fingers over the finished dropship; It has a very nice compact and durable feel to it. I finished it in about 10 minutes (not counting the time it took to separate the pieces and organize them for easier access, which I always do). A lever in the back allows a loading platform to quickly and smoothly drop troops wherever they're needed. The only thing is that the Empire's symbols on the ship come as stickers, which I hate on Legos. I wish they'd print them on the actual bricks, but it's not a big deal if you're only going to display the set; Oily childrens' hands would quickly cause the stickers to peel off.It comes with three regular Storm Troopers and one Shadow Trooper to pilot the dropship, so for ten dollars this is a great set to help you in quickly building up your Imperial army. I might buy a few more to add the Storm Troopers to my collection and build something else out of the dropship pieces!Overall, I would definitely recommend this set, perhaps even several for the devoted fan!My 5 y/o son is very crazy about Lego Star Wars. We've been aquiring several peices over some time. This is a set that is very small but comes with many imperial troops that it's nice to have. Also the ship is so easy to build that my son could build it by himself. It's a little fragile but it is so easy to rebuild (as long as you have the original intructional booklet) that my son builds them in 10~15 minutes. It's a nice starting set for those boys who are in love with Star Wars.My son just turned 5 and loves Star Wars and recently became interested in Legos. Although the instructions are easy for him to follow because they are just pictures, sometimes it does call for adult interaction on the smaller pieces and stickers. Its a great hour or so for us to spend together while we build it and then he plays for hours with it along with the other sets. Only down side is the small pieces and if it breaks you have to pull the instructions out again..but that is expected with all lego sets like this.We purchased this for our 4 1/2 year old son who loves to build with Legos and is just starting to show an interest in Star Wars. With a little help, he was able to build the ship which made him very proud. He really likes the mini-Storm Troopers and has "introduced" them to our "regular" Lego people. He spends hours with Legos each week, constructing different scenes, building his own ships, and just letting his imagination go free. I would recommend this set for anyone who has a Lego fan in their house.Great for any original Star Wars fan.My 5 year old saved his money to buy a Star Wars LEGO set and this is the one he chose. His 6 year old brother helped him assemble it. As he is "flying" it around the dropship falls off a lot which frustrates him but other than that he enjoys playing with it.Lego has struck marketing gold with these kits. My 8 year old loves them and plays with them for hours, building and rebuilding. Every kid his age has them, theyre like a universal toy. They seem expensive for what you get, but you know what it costs when you buy it so you can't really complain about that. After numerous sets we've never been shorted a piece. My grandson wanted this item for his birthday along with one other set of legos. I was truly disappointed in the amount of money this cost and the size of the items. When it was delivered I said to myself for the almost $100.00 it cost the gift looked absolutely like nothing. Shame on Legos for charging so much money for these items. My grandson was happy but grandma wasn’t.Se ne sont pas les troopers d’origines.
